synopsis
There was a time when young people in the South were looking to travel, those who wanted to believe that leaving was the only solution... In Abidjan, within the “intelligent immigration” consultancy firm Campus Monde, young Ivorians are guided and trained to skillfully navigate through the tests required by Western embassies granting visas.
Director
Yannick Edoh GLIKOU is a Togolese screenwriter, writer-director and photographer, as well as a producer, with a Master 2 in creative documentary production/direction from Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis, Senegal. Since 2017, he has been teaching image and sound semiology at a local private university. Before that, his Master's thesis in Contemporary History focused on the emigration of Togolese to France and Germany between 1985 and 2005. Since 2020, Yannick Edoh GLIKOU has been developing CAMPUS MONDE, his first feature-length documentary, which examines the business of university emigration.
