synopsis
In Angeles City, everything is cheap, including the girls. The film enters this world through two women who follow their lives as they try to improve their conditions and how women make choices when options are scarce.
Director
In 2011, Pabelle Manikan graduated from De La Salle College in Saint Benilde with a diploma in digital production. After college, she worked for several companies that focused on making documentaries about the Philippines. Since then, she has been passionate about learning more about the medium and learning more about her country. Currently, she works for award-winning documentary director Ditsi Carolino as a full-time editor.
