synopsis

To avoid paying for expensive wedding ceremonies or dowries
exorbitant, the Peulh community authorizes the kidnapping of the future fiancée. This
tradition, the goufdé, has since deviated and is more often close to marriage
forced into love marriage. First victims, teenage girls. How
to challenge an established practice in a community that remains very
conservative and proud of its tradition?
