A man for my family
by Thierno Souleymane Diallo
BURKINA FASO, France - 2014 - 52 MINUTES
synopsis
My father died ten years ago, and yet he keeps appearing to me in dreams. He sends me messages that I can sometimes decode. He is worried that the family will be so divided because of a piece of land he sold before his death. So that his soul may rest in peace, the Fulani tradition recommends the sacrifice of a cow. I am going to Fouta Djalon, in Guinea for this sacrifice during which I will also try to reestablish links with my aunt and my uncles.
