by Joël Richmond Mathieu Akafou
BURKINA FASO, France, Belgium - 2017 - 52 MINUTES
synopsis
It is in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, undergoing social change. We discover an Ivorian youth in need of benchmarks following the political and economic crises of recent years. We follow Rolex the Portuguese and his companions, young people in their daily activities, scam and petty trade to survive. They introduce us to the crazy nights of Abidjan and their swirling lives, aged 15 to 25, between scam, sex, alcohol, show off, fetishism, sacrifice. For them, to rip off Europeans is to collect the colonial debt.
